Pointe Sable
Description
Pointe Sable is a unique site in Guadeloupe. This exceptional beach is only accessible by boat and offers a calm and preserved environment.
Sheltered from sea swell, the beach leads to a shallow-bottened stretch of sea which is always calm and provides everyone, and in particular young children, to swim and play in perfect safety.
Programme
Our excursion will begin by a little stop off at the Pointe-à-Pitre spice market, before crossing the Rivière Salée (a mini sea arm) that meanders through the mangrove swamp with its particular fauna. This aquatic passage will bring us directly to the Caribbean sea, just at the entrance of the Grand Cul-de-sac marine reserve.
From there, we will head for Pointe-Sable while making a short halt by the coral reef. Flipeprs, masks and snokels will be passed out for a short dive to discover the undersea fauna. This protected marine natural reserve abounds with multi-coloured fish and starfish.
Later, we will land directly on the beachof Pointe-Sable where refrehments will be served to be savoured on the beach on in the water.
Sheltered from the sun in a tent, you will be served a meal selected and specified, according to the menu, at the time of your reservation.
After the lunch, you will be able to relax with your family or amoung your friends and enjoy the afternoon.
Upon the return trip, we will make a halt at the entrance of the Rivière-Salée, just off the islet Christophe so as to enjoy the spectacle of the birds coming home to roost for the night.
Meal
A meal will be served on the beach in a tent (except half a day excursion).
Diverse dishes and desserts will be at hand. You need only to consult our menu.
